Studies have shown that supplementation with arabinogalactan (extracted from larch trees) has a positive effect on the activity of "killer cells" (the famous NK-lymphocytes), cytokines (essential substances for cell communication) and macrophages. On the other hand, taking such a supplement confers numerous antioxidant properties associated with the numerous polyphenols found in larch. There are other plants such as echinacea, thuja or wild indigo (Baptisia tinctoria) that contain similar components but in smaller amounts.
Arabinogalactan and pectin support and strengthen the immune system in several ways:

In addition, pectin is able to bind ions of radioactive and heavy metals, normalising blood circulation and stomach activity. Another advantage of the substance is that it improves the general microflora of the intestine, has an anti-inflammatory effect on its mucous membrane. Pectin is recommended for ulcer diseases and dysbacteriosis.
